It’s hot — tomorrow UV index 6 in Wörgl

Sun protection is more than a question of comfort. High UV radiation damages the skin permanently — and it adds up over the years. Children are especially sensitive: their skin is thinner and their protective barrier is not yet fully developed. 🧒

What really helps:
✅ Sunscreen SPF 30+ (SPF 50+ for children), applied in good time and reapplied regularly
✅ Seek shade between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. — especially in the mountains
✅ Don’t forget a hat and long clothing
✅ Drink plenty — heat and altitude increase fluid loss

If you’re out in the mountains: UV radiation increases by about 10% per 1,000 metres of altitude. What’s still fine in the valley can become a real strain at the summit. 🏔️

Stay protected and enjoy the summer! 💚
