FAST Test: Recognize a stroke in seconds

🧠 Recognizing a stroke—with the FAST test

October 29 is World Stroke Day. A stroke often strikes suddenly, and every minute counts: the faster help arrives, the better the brain can be protected. Four letters help you recognize the most important warning signs—take a look 👉

😟 F – Face: Ask the person to smile. Is one corner of their mouth drooping? 💪 A – Arms: Have the person raise both arms forward. Does one arm drop or fail to rise? 💬 S – Speech: Have the person repeat a simple sentence. Does their speech sound slurred, or are they missing words? ⏱️ T – Time: Even a single sign is enough—call 144 immediately!

🚑 Even if the symptoms go away after a few minutes, please still call 144. This could be a warning sign.

Remember the FAST test and tell your family about it—that way, you can act quickly and appropriately in an emergency.
