Fake Calls: How to Tell If a Call Is Really From Us
Scam Calls in Tyrol: How to Spot Them ☎️
In Tyrol, there’s currently a surge in calls from people posing as police officers, prosecutors, doctors, or hospital staff. They might claim there’s been an accident or a family member has been hospitalized, and they demand money or a deposit as quickly as possible.
To make sure you can recognize a genuine call from us, here’s a clear reminder: ✅ We don’t make up emergencies over the phone, and we don’t pressure you. ✅ We never ask for our patients’ personal information over the phone. ✅ We never ask you not to tell anyone about our call.
When we call you, it’s about your appointment, test results, or treatment—we’ll take our time and not rush you. On the other hand, time pressure, bad news, or a request not to tell anyone are clear warning signs.
Don’t let anyone pressure you over the phone. If you’re unsure, just stop by our office, and we’ll sort it out in person. 🤝 If you suspect anything, call the police at 133 (European emergency number 112).
Feel free to share this with your parents and grandparents, too. 💬
Your team at Familienpraxis Tirol 💚
